Man steals vacuum from movies

Employees at the Palladium Theater, 300 Hamilton Row in Birmingham, reported to police that a man walked behind a counter and took a cordless vacuum on Sunday, May 6.

Around 2 a.m., employees at the movie theater said a heavy-set African American male walked behind the counter at the Emagine Palladium, picked up a cordless Hoover vacuum cleaner and left the building.

Birmingham police are investigating.
