A Beverly Hills resident who left his bicycle in a Birmingham alley, unlocked, on Monday, July 9, came back to discover it stolen.

The resident told Birmingham police that he had left the bike in the alley at Old Woodward and E. Maple around 1 p.m., and had not locked it. When he returned to retrieve the bike, it was gone.

Birmingham police are investigating.
