Lawn service loses numerous items to thieves

The owner of a lawn service had numerous items stolen from his truck and trailer while he was working at a Bloomfield Township residence on Tuesday, August 14.

Bloomfield Township police responded to the 7200 block of Jacksonpark Drive for a larceny report. The victim owns a lawn service, and had been busy working at a residential home. His truck and trailer had been parked in the roadway, and while he was working an unknown suspect stole a Shindaiwa hedge trimmer, two Shindaiwa trimmers, a Redmaxx backpack blower, and a Stihl chainsaw.

The landscaper said the equipment is valued at $2,170.

Bloomfield Township police said the case is currently under investigation.
