Cops looking for thief who stole booze

:

Employees at the Birmingham Whole Foods watched as a man walked out with vodka and whiskey from the store, and then took off in his vehicle on Monday, September 17.

The employees at Whole Foods, 2100 E. Maple Road, informed Birmingham police officers that the man walked into the store pushing a cart with a bag inside. Once in the store he filled the bag with vodka and whiskey, and then walked out of the store without paying.

He is described as a 50-year-old white man, wearing a blue t-shirt, gray shorts and black shoes.

According to witnesses, he drove away in a silver Oldsmobile or Buick.

Birmingham police are investigating.
