Woman takes purse from shopping cart

Store video surveillance showed a woman in her 40s taking a purse from another woman's cart at the Bloomfield Township TJ Maxx store on Tuesday, September 18.

A woman told Bloomfield Township police she set her purse in her shopping cart and walked away in the TJ Maxx store at 2139 Telegraph Road. She said that when she returned to her shopping cart, her purse was missing.

Store video surveillance showed a black female in her 40s, with a thin build and a light complexion, taking the woman's purse, and walking out of the store with it.

Bloomfield Township police are investigating the case.
