Power tools stolen from Aldi site

Several thousand dollars worth of power tools were stolen from the Aldi grocery store site in Bloomfield Township sometime between Saturday, September 22, and Monday, September 24.

On the morning of Monday, September 24, Bloomfield Township police were called for a larceny complaint at 1967 Telegraph Road, where the new Aldi grocery store is being built. The contractor stated that sometime over the weekend, someone entered the partially finished building and stole several thousands of dollars worth of tools, including a Honda generator, a Honda air compressor, drills, saws and other hand tools.

Bloomfield Township police are investigating.
