Halloween parade, pumpkin patch Sunday

Ghosts and goblins, clowns and superheroes, get ready to strut your stuff through Birmingham, with the Halloween Parade on Sunday, October 28, at 4 p.m.

The Junior League of Birmingham and the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber are hosting a day of fun and merriment at Shain Park in downtown Birmingham. From 1-4 p.m., there will be a Pumpkin Patch, followed by the Halloween Parade led by the Seaholm High School Band and the city of Birmingham Fire Department. At the end of the parade, the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber will provide participants with cider and treats.

Activities at the Pumpkin Patch in Shain Park include moon bounces, refreshments, fantastic crafts and spooktacular games. Everything is open to kids of all ages, there is no RSVP required, and all events are free.

Parents and children are invited to dress in costume all day long and join in the fun festivities.
