Mail carrier discovers house break-in

An alert postal worker called 911 to report the front door of a residence in the 200 block of Tilbury Road in Bloomfield Township appeared to be forced open around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24.

Bloomfield Township police officers responded to the home, where the front door appeared to have been forced open. Officers checked the interior of the home, and found it had been ransacked.
