Thieves steal coats from Dick's Sporting Goods

Two men were seen selecting coats from The North Face section of the Bloomfield Township Dick's Sporting Goods store on Tuesday, October 20, and then taking off with a woman who was waiting in the vestibule of the store.

Around 10 a.m., Bloomfield Township police officers responded to a retail fraud complaint from Dick's Sporting Goods, 2105 Telegraph Road. The store manager reported that two black males were observed near The North Face section of the store. Employees watched as the two men selected several coats off the rack and ran out the exit door.

It appeared that a white female was standing in the store's vestibule and activated the doors, police said, allowing the two men to exit the store.

The three suspects are in their 20's and drove away in a maroon minivan.

Bloomfield Township police are investigating.
