Men steals phones from Woodward AT&T store

Police are investigating a brazen theft involving three men that occurred on the evening of Wednesday, November 12, from a Birmingham AT&T store in the 33000 block of Woodward Avenue. Birmingham police officers were called about 7 p.m. to the AT&T store at 33800 Woodward for a report of a robbery. The employees said three men entered the store and stole multiple phones before leaving through a rear entrance. The men were described as black males in their 20s. The first man was said to be wearing black sweat pants with yellow fabric in the interior of the pockets, a black hoodie and a black cap. The second man was seen wearing red sweat pants, a gray and black jacket with the Detroit Pistons logo on the back, and white Airmax tennis shoes. The third man was wearing dark blue jeans, a black jacket with a white Nike logo on the left breast and tan Timberland style boots. Officers are investigating the case as a retail fraud incident.
