Library offers Second Saturday Sale specials

The Friends of the Bloomfield Township Public Library will hold its Second Saturday Sale on January 12.

The sale, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will offer sale specials on old and new science, literature and history book sets and hand-tooled and gilt-edged collections. The sale also features scores of newly-arrived CDs in various genres and a wide variety of interesting books on poetry. Friends of the Library gift certificates also will be available.

The first hour of the sale will be open to Friends members only. Memberships are available at the door on the day of the sale. Memberships range from $15 to $500.

Friends of the Library accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover credit cards and debit cards with a minimum $15 purchase.

Friends of the Bloomfield Township Public Library is a 501(c)3 organization that raises funds through monthly Second Saturday sales, book and media sales in the Library Shop, donations and memberships. The organization has donated more than $1.3 million to support the library beyond its operating budget to support additions and existing collections, as well as artwork and sculpture.
