Tires slashed in downtown Birmingham

Birmingham police are investigating a vandalism incident that occurred on Saturday, January 19, involving a local restaurant worker's vehicle in the 200 block of Townsend Street.

Police said an employee at Bella Piatti, 167 Townsend Street, told officers about 6 p.m. that someone slashed both tires on the passenger side of his vehicle.

Police said there were no suspects or witnesses at this time.

Birmingham police are investigating.
