Phone stolen from cellular display

Bloomfield Township police are investigating the theft of an iPhone that was stolen on Monday, February 4, from an AT&T store in the 2500 block of Telegraph Road.

Officers responded about 12:05 p.m. to the store, 2510 Telegraph, after store prsonnel reported a theft. The store manager told officers three people entered the store and were able to distract employees while one of them stole an Apple iPhone 8 from the display counter. The phone is valued at $600.

The store was able to provide police with photos of the subjects taken from video surveillance. The case is under investigation.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
