Theft of golf club under investigation

Police are investigating the theft of a $400 golf club head stolen in late January from a Bloomfield Township sporting goods store in the 2100 block of Telegraph Road.

Bloomfield Township police responded about 2:50 p.m. to Dick's Sporting Goods, 2105 Telegraph, for the report of a theft that had just occurred. The store manager told officers a man in the store stole the head from a Ping G400 golf driver.

A photo of the man taken from the store's video surveillance system was provided to police. The case is under investigation.

Police ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
