Man arrested for credit card fraud in township

A Livonia man was arraigned on charges of credit card theft after allegedly using a stolen credit card at a Bloomfield Township business, police said.

Miles Jonathan Dunlap, 29, appeared on Thursday, March 7 in 48th District Court in front of Judge Diane D'Agostini on one count of stealing or retaining a financial transaction without consent. The charge stems from a Bloomfield Township police investigation that started on January 5. Police said Dunlap attempted to use an area resident's credit card at 2209 Telegraph, a McDonald's restaurant.

Police said Dunlap was responsible for unauthorized purchases.
