Cranbrook Art Graduate show opens Saturday

The 2019 Graduate Degree Exhibition of Cranbrook Academy of Art opens to the public this Saturday, April 13, showcasing the work of 65 graduating Cranbrook Academy of Art students, with the exhibition running from April 13 through May 12 at Cranbrook Art Museum.

The Graduate Degree Exhibition features pieces that are the culmination of two years of studio work from a diverse group of students completing their masters program. The exhibition fills the entire upper galleries of Cranbrook Art Museum. It is the most diverse exhibition offered all year, showcasing work from 10 Academy departments – 2D and 3D design, architecture, ceramics, fiber, metalsmithing, painting, photography, print media and sculpture.

The opening reception for members is Saturday, April 13, 6-9 p.m. Non-members can purchase a ticket on the website or at the door for $20.
