Arrest made in identity theft of resident

A Hazel Park man was arraigned on Thursday, April 11, in connection with identity theft stemming from an incident last summer involving a Bloomfield Township victim whose personal information was stolen. Bloomfield Township police said officers responded on August 23 to the 3000 block of West Ridge Court for an identity theft complaint. The victim told police that several credit cards were opened in his name and used throughout the metro Detroit area. Detectives were able to develop a suspect over the course of the investigation. Frank Curtis Hill, 28, of Hazel Park was arrested and charged with identity theft. He was arraigned on April 11 in 48th District Court before Magistrate Andra Richardson. Bond was set at $5,000. Hill's next appearance is scheduled for April 23 before Judge Diane D'Agostini in 48th District Court.
