A Sterling Heights man was arrested on Sunday, May 5, in connection with a late night fight with two other men at a bar/restaurant in downtown Birmingham.

Police responding about 11 p.m. to the report of a fight at Sidecar Slider Bar, 280 E. Merrill, arrived to learn that a 27-year-old man had allegedly instigated a fight with verbal threats, followed by punches with two other men.

The man was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery.
