Shoplifter arrested at township Target


A Pontiac woman was arrested on Sunday, April 28, in connection with shoplifting from a Bloomfield Township Target store, police said. Bloomfield Township police responding about 12:15 p.m. to the report of a retail fraud complaint at Target, 2400 Telegraph Road, arrived to speak with a store manager who said a woman was being detained after trying to steal about $38 worth of merchandise. Officers arrested Jamie Lynn Shipley, 29, of Pontiac, in connection with retail fraud. She was scheduled to appear on Wednesday, May 22 before 48th District Court Judge Kimberly Small.
