Thieves steal $2,000 worth of tools

Bloomfield Township police are investigating the theft of about $2,000 worth of power tools on Sunday, June 9, from a local home improvement store in the 1800 block of Telegraph.

Officers responded about 2:30 p.m. to the report of a theft at Lowes, 1801 Telegraph, involving two white males who entered the store and took four Dewalt combo kits. Police said the men exited the store and got into a black, Dodge minivan.

The men were described only as being 19 to 23-years-old, one with blonde hair and the other with dark hair.

Police ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
