Police seek man in ID theft at Somerset


Police are seeking the man believed to be responsible for an identity theft incident on Tuesday, June 18, that occurred at a department store at the Somerset Collection in Troy. Bloomfield Township police said the victim, a resident of Bloomfield Township, filed a police report at the station after receiving an alert from LifeLock regarding a department store account that was opened in his name. The victim said the person who opened the account was given instant credit for $900. Investigators were able to obtain video footage of the person believed to be responsible. Police ask anyone with information about the incident or who is able to identify the man to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
