Police seek man in ID theft at Somerset

Police are seeking the man believed to be responsible for an identity theft incident on Tuesday, June 18, that occurred at a department store at the Somerset Collection in Troy. Bloomfield Township police said the victim, a resident of Bloomfield Township, filed a police report at the station after receiving an alert from LifeLock regarding a department store account that was opened in his name. The victim said the person who opened the account was given instant credit for $900. Investigators were able to obtain video footage of the person believed to be responsible.
