Car heisted from township home

A car partially held together with tape and zip ties was stolen on Wednesday, July 3, from a home in the 7000 block of Deep Run Drive, in Bloomfield Township.

Police responded about 11:15 a.m. to the residence where the victim told officers her silver, 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix had been stolen. The victim told Bloomfield Township police that she last saw the vehicle on Saturday, June 29. She said the vehicle was locked and that she had both sets of keys. The victim added that the rear passenger window was held in place with clear tape, and that the bumper was held on with a black zip tie.

The case is under investigation.
