Thief hits swimming club parking lot

Several unidentified items were stolen on Saturday, July 6, from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot of a local Birmingham swimming club, located in the 1500 block of East Lincoln Drive.

Police said the car was parked about 11 a.m. at the Forest Hill Swimming Club, 2500 East Lincoln Drive, when the items were stolen.

Birmingham police are investigating.
