Chamber hosts investing workshop
The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber will host a Professional Edge workshop on Thursday, August 1, from 8-9:30 a.m., on how to invest in long-term business relationships.
The workshop, Investing in Relationships: The Art of Investing in Longterm Mutually Beneficial (business) Relationships, presented by chamber member Ken Seawell, is to be held at Birmingham Public Schools space at 31301 Evergreen Road in Beverly Hills. There is no charge to attend, although space is limited and registration at bbcc.com is encouraged.
The Professional Edge Workshop is an interactive event focused on strengthening businesses and making relationships, and is sponsored by DFCU Financial.
Seawell received his bachelor of arts degree from Florida State University. After graduating, he ran a successful consulting firm for more than 15 years, assisting clients in developing better business practices to lead to increased sales and profits. In 2013, Seawell joined EAM Consulting Group as a managing partner, focused on his current passion, sales training.
“We are fortunate to have a person of Ken’s skill and ability lead one of our Professional Edge sessions,” said chamber president Joe Bauman. “Anyone looking to hone their sales skills should definitely take advantage of this opportunity.”
