Safe stolen from Bloomfield Andiamo's

An office safe was stolen on Monday, July 22, during an early morning burglary at Andiamo's Italian Restaurant, on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township.

Police officers responded about 3:15 a.m. to the restaurant, 6676 Telegraph Road, for a burglary alarm. Officers at the scene found a door to the building open with what appeared to be pry marks near the handle of the door. While checking the building, officers noticed the manager's office door open, and discovered markings on the floor where a safe had been sitting. The manager confirmed a small safe was missing. It was unknown how much money was in the safe at the time of the burglary.

The case is under investigation. Detectives are reviewing video footage from surrounding security cameras. Police said a silver or gray Jeep Cherokee may have been involved in the incident.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
