Naked couple cited for disorderly conduct

A couple looking for an intimate place to "park" in downtown Birmingham on Thursday, August 1, may have made too hasty of a choice when they chose the police department's parking lot as the place to get intimate.

Birmingham police said an officer pulled into the parking lot, 200 Martin Street, about 12:17 a.m., when he noticed a vehicle that was running and parked in spot reserved for municipal vehicles.

The officer approached the vehicle and noticed the rear windows were fogged up. He then discovered an undressed man and woman in the back seat.

The man, 24, of Clinton Township, and woman, 25, of Sterling Heights, were cited for disorderly conduct and given a court date.
