Bicycle thief makes clean get-away from store

Police looking for the man responsible for stealing a bicycle on the evening of Saturday, August 17, from a Bloomfield Township dry cleaning clerk in the 2500 block of Telegraph Road. Police said the employee told officers about 7 p.m. that his bike was stolen from the rear of the store while he was inside working. A surveillance camera captured footage of a man riding away on the bike at 4:20 p.m. He was described as a white male, 30 to 35 years old, about 6-feet, 2-inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. The man was seen wearing a white collared shirt, black shorts and white gym shoes. He had a thin build,, goatee and shoulder-length brown hair. Police ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
