Burglars hit Bloomfield Township pharmacy

Burglars on the night of Sunday, August 18, broke into the Medical Park Pharmacy, 799 Denison Court, and stole an undisclosed amount of controlled substances from a secured cabinet, Bloomfield Township police said. Officers responding about 11:40 p.m. for a burglar alarm at the business arrived to speak with the owner, who requested they escort him inside while he checked the interior. During the inspection, officers discovered an open cabinet that the owner advised was never left unsecured. A closer check of the cabinet revealed the narcotics stored inside were missing. The case is under investigation. Police ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
