Wallet stolen while shopping at Whole Foods

A woman told Birmingham police on Saturday, August 17, that her wallet was stolen sometime that afternoon while she was shopping at Whole Foods, 2100 E. Maple Road, with her baby. The woman told police the wallet was in her baby's car seat, which was in the larger portion of the shopping cart, when the wallet was stolen. A witness described the suspect as a white, heavy-set, blond woman, about 45 to 55 years old, with shoulder length hair and wearing black pants, a white Levi T-Shirt, tan hat and white Adidas shoes.
