Burglaries investigated at Adams businesses

Birmingham police are investigating the theft of lawn equipment taken sometime during the evening on Friday, August 30, or the morning of Saturday, August 31, from a storage shed at a business in the 700 block of S. Adams.

Police responded about 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, to the report of a break-in at the business complex at 725 S. Adams. The victim said someone had broken into the shed overnight and stolen several pieces of lawn equipment.

Police on the same evening were dispatched to Massage Green Spa, 665 S. Adams, for a break-in, after a cleaning crew noticed the front glass door was broken and two cash registers had been pried open.

The amount of cash stolen was not reported.

Both incidents are under investigation.
