Chamber of Commerce Vine & Dine next week

The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce will hold its 16th annual Vine & Dine event on Tuesday, September 17, from 6-9 p.m. at Double Tree by Hilton in Bloomfield Hills.

The event, a favorite for many in the community, is a fun tradition for food and wine aficionados. Vine & Dine offers guests an impressive selection of domestic and imported wines, a strolling buffet featuring fare from some of the area's finest restaurants, and live music by NuClassica. The event benefits Gleaners Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan.

This year's event will feature a chef's challenge and a wine pull.

Guests will enjoy the opportunity to sip, savor and explore at the newly renovated Double Tree by Hilton, 39475 Woodward Avenue, which includes a two-story expansive atrium lobby, new business center, plush lounge with custom stone materials and a beautiful and modern ballroom area.

Tickets are $85 per person in advance and $95 at the door. There is special pricing available for bulk tickets of 12 or more.

“We are very excited to host Vine & Dine this year at the brand new Double Tree and to bring back an old friend in NuClassica to the event,” said chamber President Joe Bauman. “There also is an added emphasis in supporting our partners at Gleaner’s with the chef’s challenge, and the wine pull will guarantee every guest leaves with a prize.”

The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber is a membership organization dedicated to promoting the economic development, strengthen the business climate and improve the quality of life in the six communities it serves, Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township and Franklin.

Gleaners Community Food Bank’s mission has been to turn surplus food, which otherwise would go to waste, into millions of meals for hungry people in southeastern Michigan. For more than 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has grown from distributing just over 500,000 pounds to nearly 41 million pounds annually, an estimated 95,000 meals distributed each day.
