Briefcase stolen from unlocked vehicle

A Birmingham resident on Friday, September 13, told police that a briefcase was stolen out of their vehicle while parked in the 1800 block of Fairway Drive.

The victim told police the vehicle was parked outside and unlocked when the theft was discovered, about 11 a.m. Police said there are no suspects or witnesses.
