BBCC hosts leadership breakfast October 16

The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Community Leadership Breakfast on Wednesday, October 16, from 8-10 a.m. at The Village Club in Bloomfield Hills. The event brings together and encourages the for-profit community to find a charitable partner for their philanthropy, leadership and support. Business leaders will have an opportunity to connect one-on-one with local non-profits and discover opportunities to become involved within the community. Attendees will be able to network, enjoy two keynote speakers and a plated breakfast, all designed to draw attention to the good deeds being done in our local communities. Keynote speakers are motivational speaker Jackie Krawczak, of Jackie Krawczak, LLC, and Todd Turner, founder of local non-profit Team Guts. “The breakfast and non-profit showcase always is one of our most popular events of the year,” said Chamber President Joe Bauman. “The stories and experiences shared at these events always leave our guests misty-eyed and feeling good about the future of our communities.” Participating non-profits include Variety The Children's Charity, Far Therapeutic Arts and Recreation, The Pink Fund, Kids Kicking Cancer, Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan, Birmingham Bloomfield Community Coalition, YMCA, Birmingham Rotary Club, The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, Beaumont, and CARE House of Oakland County. The Village Club is located at 190 E. Long Lake Road in Bloomfield Hills. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased online at bbcc.com or by calling (248) 644-1700.
