Glass door shattered in home invasion

Bloomfield Township police are investigating a home invasion that occurred during the early morning hours of Monday, October 7, in the 1000 block of Quarton Ridge.

Police responding about 2:15 a.m. to a home burglary alarm arrived to the residence to discover a glass door had been shattered.

The victim wasn't home at the time of the break-in, and wasn't immediately sure what had been stolen.

Officers, along with an Oak Park Police K-9 unit, conducted a search of the area, but weren't able to find any leads.

The case is under investigation. Police ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
