Credit cards stolen at Birmingham tea bar

Birmingham police on Wednesday, October 16, responded to a downtown Birmingham business to investigate a theft from an employee. Officers said an employee at Eli Tea Bar, 200 South Old Woodward Avenue, said about 8 a.m. that credit cards were stolen from her purse. The purse was in the back room at the business at the time of the theft. Police have no suspects or witnesses. Birmingham police are investigating.
