Jewelry stolen from Birmingham home

Birmingham police are investigating a theft of jewelry discovered missing sometime on or about Wednesday, October 23, from a home in the 900 block of Abbey Road.

Police said the victim contacted police about 9 a.m. that day to say that jewelry was missing, and presumed stolen from their home.

Investigators are questioning a contractor who was working in the home at the time of the theft.
