Drunk man enters wrong Birmingham house

A 24-year-old Birmingham man was arrested in connection with a home invasion during the early morning hours of Saturday, November 2, after walking into the wrong home while drunk. Birmingham police responded about 3 a.m. to the 1300 block of Melton where homeowners said a man walked into their home and sat on the couch in their living room. The homeowner confronted the man, who then ran out of the home. Officers located the man a short distance away, who told police he was intoxicated and thought the home belonged to a friend. The man was arrested and issued a citation for unlawful entry and disorderly conduct.
