Township home burglarized, ransacked

Bloomfield Township police are investigating a home invasion that occurred sometime on Wednesday, November 13, in the 4000 block of Parkwood Court while the owner was not at home. Officers responded to a burglary alarm about 1:30 p.m. at the home. Upon arriving, officers discovered an open door to the home with signs of forced entry. While searching the home, the officers discovered the master bedroom had been ransacked. The homeowner wasn't home at the time of the burglary. Electronics and jewelry were discovered missing from the home. The case is under investigation. Police ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
