Man arrested for prowling around home

December 6, 2019

Birmingham police on Monday, November 25, arrested a 54-year-old man accused of creeping around the outside of a home in the 900 block of Wimbleton.

Officers responded about 7 a.m. to the area after receiving a complaint that an unknown man was peering into the windows of a home from the backyard. The homeowner told police he saw the man open the backyard gate and enter the property from the side of the house.

Police located a 54-year-old Ferndale man who was subsequently arrested in connection with prowling.
