Police investigate vehicle break-ins

Birmingham police are investigating a pair of vehicle break-ins that occurred on the morning of Thursday, December 6, at the parking lot of a fitness center in the 700 block of S. Adams Road. Officers responded about 7 a.m. to Orangetheory Fitness, 633 S. Adams in Birmingham, where two cars in the parking lot had been broken into sometime that morning. Police said the vehicles were locked and that the windows were smashed out. Several undisclosed items were stolen from the vehicles. Police said a witness saw two unknown males driving a silver sport utility vehicle, possibly a Dodge Durango or Dodge Journey, that may be connected to the incident.
