Trio takes off with cart full of goods
The manager of a Bloomfield Township home store called Bloomfield Township police around 7 p.m. Sunday, January 26, to report that three people had taken off with a cart full of merchandise. Officers responded to a retail fraud that had just occurred at At Home, 2101 Telegraph Road. The store manager informed officers that two black females and a black male had entered the store and filled a shopping cart full of merchandise. The trio then pushed the cart out the main entrance and into a vehicle, described as a black Chevrolet Tahoe with a Michigan license plate, DSB 1743. Witnesses described the driver of the vehicle as a black female, 20-30 years of age, approximately 5-feet, 6-inches tall, with long hair. She was wearing a purple jacket and white hat. The second suspect is described as a skinny black female, 40-50 years old, 5-feet, 4-inches tall, wearing a dark coat and black pants. The third suspect is described as a skinny black male, 40-50 years of age, 5-feet, 4-inches tall, wearing all dark clothing and a stocking cap. Investigators are reviewing store surveillance, and the case is currently under investigation with the Bloomfield Township Police. Anyone with information is asked to call 248.433.7755.
