Woman uses phony bill at Jimmy John's

Officers are investigating a report of a counterfeit bill from Jimmy John's at 33524 Woodward Avenue in Birmingham. On Thursday, January 23, employees at the sandwich shop reported that they had received a fraudulent $100 bill. The suspect was described as a middle-aged black woman, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall with a skinny build. She was wearing a white jacket, purple hat, and white boots. Birmingham police are investigating.
