Attempted burglary at Birmingham home

Officers arrived at the scene after a resident in the 900 block of Hazel, Birmingham, reported seeing a suspicious person in her backyard on Thursday, January 30. Upon arrival, officers noticed that a storm window on the west side of the house had been removed from the window frame and a recycle bin had been tipped over next to it. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie pulled up over their face and blue jeans. Birmingham police were unable to locate the suspect. The case is currently under investigation.
