Traffic incident increases to road rage

Two men became involved in an incident of road rage on Friday, January 31, at the corner of Old Woodward and Hamilton Row in downtown Birmingham.

Birmingham police officers were dispatched to the scene where a fight was in progress between a 28-year-old man from Somerset Center and a 23-year-old man from Northville. According to witnesses at the scene, the former started punching the latter after each had left their vehicle. Both vehicles had stopped in the intersection after one vehicle had attempted to pass the other vehicle during a turn. The two men were arrested, and it was discovered they each had been driving on suspended licenses.
