Township library hosting photo contest

The Bloomfield Township Public Library has announced it is holding its fourth annual amateur photo contest, with this year's theme “In Motion.” The amateur photo contest is for Bloomfield Township residents who have taken photos between May 1, 2019 and March 15, 2020. The deadline to enter photos is March 15, 2020 at midnight. Submissions can be either in color or black and white; they may be digital or print. Winners will be announced and honored at a reception at the library on Saturday, April 18. The theme “In Motion” encourages photographers to freeze time and capture movement with their cameras. Inspiration can be anything from a bird in flight, a dog running, a wave crashing onto a beach, or anywhere the photographers' imagination takes them. Details and an entry form can be found on the library's website at btpl.org.
