Man in ski mask caught stealing from car

Birmingham police officers on Thursday, February 20, were dispatched on reports of a larceny from an automobile in progress by a man in a ski mask. A witness made the report of an incident in the 900 block of Henrietta after seeing a man with a black ski mask on going through a car at night. A perimeter was set up by Birmingham and Troy police with a K-9, who tracked the suspect to the 800 block of Pierce in Birmingham, where he was found hiding in the bushes. The suspect, a 54-year-old man from Detroit, was arrested for larceny, personal property from vehicle.
