Wad of cash taken from wallet at Lifetime

A man taking a class at LifeTime Fitness in Bloomfield Township on Wednesday, February 26, had $1,825 stolen from his wallet. The man reported the theft to the Bloomfield Township Police Station after working out nearby at LifeTime Fitness, 4106 Telegraph Road. He informed officers he had placed his property in a locked locker while he attended a class at the club. When he returned to the locker, he discovered someone has stolen $1,825 from his wallet. Bloomfield Township police are investigating and recommend not carrying large amounts of cash, and to secure valuables in the trunk of vehicles in similar circumstances.
