Man steals from CVS, yells at Hyde Park

A 60-year-old from Madison Heights was arrested after having a busy day on Saturday, March 7, in downtown Birmingham. Birmingham police first responded to the CVS at 444 S. Old Woodward Avenue, Birmingham, where the man had stolen multiple bottles of body wash and various other sundry items. The stolen items, which included a prescription pill container, were found behind a generator in the CVS parking lot. Then police officers were dispatched to Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, 201 S. Old Woodward Avenue, Birmingham, where it was reported the same man had been yelling obscenities at customers. The man matched the description given to police from CVS and his name was on the pill container. He was arrested for retail fraud.
