Stolen vehicle found with three people inside

Bloomfield Township police recovered a stolen vehicle out of Detroit with three people sleeping inside of it around 8 a.m. Saturday, March 21, in a Bloomfield Township parking lot. Officers responded to the parking lot located at 50 W. Big Beaver Road on a suspicious vehicle complaint. When they arrived, they observed three people inside the suspicious vehicle asleep, and the vehicle had two flat tires. Upon further investigation, officers found the vehicle was listed stolen out of the city of Detroit. All three subjects were identified by police, and officers recognized the driver and front seat passenger as suspects wanted in a retail fraud out of Royal Oak. The vehicle driver was arrested for possession of stolen property and a parole violation. Bloomfield Township police have the case under investigation. The owner of the vehicle was notified.
