Shoplifting halted by CVS employees

Sharp-eyed employees saw a shoplifting in progress at the CVS on Old Woodward in downtown Birmingham on Sunday, June 14, and called Birmingham police. Officers arrived at CVS, 444 Old Woodward, and found the suspect with stolen items from both CVS and Kroger. The suspect was a 53-year-old man from Pontiac who was cited for retail fraud and arrested for a warrant out of Lansing.
